Fee Concession Meritorious Students

FULL FEE EXEMPTION FOR MERITORIOUS STUDENTS
Full Fee payment for post-metric Meritorious students of the backward classes(State Sector Head Of Account 2225-03-277-2-51 and District Sector Scheme 2225-00-103-0-28)
The government in addition to 5 fees as set for Government Institutions provides full fee payment to meritorious students who have obtained the highest marks in various courses to continue education of such students.The minimum percentage to be obtained is as follows:

Grant allocation:

Since both of these programs are funded together under the same account, grants to both programs are distributed as follows:

a)     60% of budget for the "fee exemption" program and 40% of budgetary allocation for “Encouragement to Backward Classes Post-Metric Meritorious students with full fee exemption”

b)    The first priority will be given to students who fall within the above specified percentage limit of Category I, all eligible students and blind students of all Categories.

c)     Then separate allocation will be made for 60% and 40% budget for each categories as follows:
 
1. Category - 2A 58%
2. Category - 3A 16%
3. 3 Category - 3 B 20%
4. Other communities 05%
5. Other Backward Classes 01%
  Total 100%
Sanctioning Authority:
Fee exemption with respect to Group-A, Group-B, Group-C, and Group-D courses funded by the Central Government and State Government grants, the District Backward Classes Welfare Officer will be the sanctioning authority to respective district 
Sanction method:
1.      Applications for E-pass will be invited from eligible students through online.
2.    Students should submit the prescribed documents and bank account number and IFC Code, Caste and Income Certificate, previous class Marks Card and other documents thorough online and submit a hard copy of the same to respective colleges.
3.    College Principals and Inspection Officers should review the applications and documents at the relevant level, confirm online and submit it to Taluk Backward Classes Welfare Officer.
4.    Taluk Backward Classes Welfare Officer should verify and sanction online.
5.    District Backward Classes Welfare Officers should verify the Application.
6.    Fee exemption will be granted at District level to students according to the grants available for respective year and on the bases of Student’s eligibility and marks.
7.     Sanctioned Amount will be directly credited to respective college account through Khajane-2 Software.
